Just For You

Here's another card using the same colors as yesterday's post. I shortened the bow tails since I took this pic and I like it better. From the pic, it looks like I used Whisper White card stock but it's Very Vanilla. I guess because the crochet trim is darker than the card stock. Anyway, Enjoy!

Can you guess what this is (was)?

So we decided last Saturday that we would set this out in the yard and try to sell it as we didn't need it anymore. My husband (being the man he is ) didn't need any help getting it down the porch steps. As he inched the hand trucks down the first step this blasted thing decided to jump off the porch.  As it fell to the ground it didn't just break, it didn't lose a part of itself, it fell completely apart. After I stopped laughing I asked him if he was okay. He was but didn't think it was that funny. Needless to say we don't have to worry about it cluttering up the living room. By the way, it was a really nice entertainment center that held a 32" tv.
Ha, now on to my card>>>>>>>>>>
I used Soft Suede, Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock. The DSP is out of the new Holiday Mini called Spice Cake. (very pretty) The framed stamp is from the new stamp set, Always Thankful. I was quite pleased how it turned out.  Enjoy!!

Christmas Stamp Camp

I'm having a Stamp Camp on Saturday September 10th from 1:00 until 4:00.  The theme will be a Christmas one. We will do four projects using items from the new Holiday Mini. (lots of goodies in the mini) Anyone attending my camp will receive one. The cost will be $12.00 in advance for the class.  I'll need this by September 3rd.  I need at least a week to prep for the packets.  I'll also include written directions for each of the projects.  If you place an order with me I will refund $5.00 of the fee.
This will be in my home.  I'll be pushing the furniture back to make room.  So I hope to see you there. Just let me know by Sept. 3 so I can prepare. Stay tuned for sneek peeks coming soon.

Fabulous Florets & Clear Block Stamping

I've seen quite a few cards using the Fabulous Florets stamp set, #123025. They're all so pretty. I had not used mine yet so I got it out today. Great looking set. Most of the cards I've seen are made using a different flower but I kind of like this one.  I also used a clear block as a stamp (saw this on Stampin Connection) and I really do like the image that it makes. I'll use this card for one of my employee birthday cards at work.  We have two birthdays this month.  Enjoy!

Sorry, it turned out a little dark.
