Heaven is a better place.

Yesterday we laid my precious Dad to rest. He was a godly man and loved the Lord. He served the Lord for many, many years. We will miss him very much but we are thankful that we know where he is. Wow, what an awesome place to be on the birth of Jesus. Merry Christmas, Dad.

"Stamp Till You Can't"

Halloween Kitty

My Granddaughter, Hailey, and I made up this cute little kitty card for Halloween. He's more cute than scary. He's made with Stampin' Up punches. Back ground paper and colored jewels comes from Sassy Scrapbooking Boutique. Hope you enjoy!

Some Treats

I was busy this weekend making treat bags for co workers.  I cased the hand bags from another site. ( Stamp and Scrap With Frenchie) I liked the idea of a hand bag but we have four men working there so I made a standard box for them. No, the Designer paper is not Stampin'Up. I didn't order our DSP this year. My hubby and I are not real big on Halloween but I did want to give treats at work. They kind of expect it. haha Hope you enjoy!

"Stamp Till You Can't"

Always Thankful

I colored the image on this card using the blender pens. I sometimes like that better than water colors. I used More Mustard card stock and the DSP, Spice Cake, is from the new Holiday Mini. The stamp set is Always Thankful. Enjoy!

Just For You

Here's another card using the same colors as yesterday's post. I shortened the bow tails since I took this pic and I like it better. From the pic, it looks like I used Whisper White card stock but it's Very Vanilla. I guess because the crochet trim is darker than the card stock. Anyway, Enjoy!

Can you guess what this is (was)?

So we decided last Saturday that we would set this out in the yard and try to sell it as we didn't need it anymore. My husband (being the man he is ) didn't need any help getting it down the porch steps. As he inched the hand trucks down the first step this blasted thing decided to jump off the porch.  As it fell to the ground it didn't just break, it didn't lose a part of itself, it fell completely apart. After I stopped laughing I asked him if he was okay. He was but didn't think it was that funny. Needless to say we don't have to worry about it cluttering up the living room. By the way, it was a really nice entertainment center that held a 32" tv.
Ha, now on to my card>>>>>>>>>>
I used Soft Suede, Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock. The DSP is out of the new Holiday Mini called Spice Cake. (very pretty) The framed stamp is from the new stamp set, Always Thankful. I was quite pleased how it turned out.  Enjoy!!

Masculine Birthday Card

I made this for one of the fellas at work.  I used Early Expresso card stock and the new DSP, Frostwood Lodge, from our new Holiday Mini. Hope you enjoy!
