Envelope Gift Card Holder

My card share for today is actually a gift card holder. At my day job, every month, an employee is picked for the "Employee of the Month". I always make the gift card holder. I cased this on Splitcoast Stampers. This was by Theresa Momber. I changed it up a bit. I used a larger envelope. I like how it turned out.
Of course the gift card will replace the Ingles card.

Card stock used is Close to Cocoa (soon to retire) and Very Vanilla.
Inks used are Close to Cocoa, Mellow Moss and Ruby Red (all soon to retire)
Stamp Sets used are"Eastern Blooms" and "Well Scripted".

I hope you all had a great Holiday weekend. And for those of you who are off today too, I hope it rains. (only joking) I hope your day is excellent. As for me I'll be where I am every Monday. (blaaa) " Stamp Till You Can't "

One more pic today and guess what? No "Spotlighting". This one is a bit different for me but I liked the yellow and black together. The sentiment is from the stamp set "Thank You Kindly". I love this set. Four different ways of saying Thank You. Enjoy! and " Stamp Till You Can't"!

Stamping 411 Challenge

I made this card for the Saturday sketch challenge with Stamping 411. As you can see I did the Spotlighting again. Okay so I'm hooked! For the cardstock I used Black, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. The inks are Black and Pretty in Pink. The satin ribbon is also Pretty in Pink. The stamp set I used is Watercolor Trio. This set is in the new Summer Mini. Check it out on the side bar. Have a great day and " Stamp Till You Can't"

Spotlighting Again

I love this technique. I also love this little bird. It's in the stamp set called

"Spring Song" #115074. I changed the colors a bit and made it for my Dad.

I think he'll like it.

My card share for today is one that I made for a gal I grew up with and had lost touch with. ( about 23 years ago ). I was able to locate her and talked with her. I'm sad to say that her heath is not good but she was in good spirits and was surprised that I called her. Oh my , the memories that come back.

This technique I used I saw on SCS and thought I would try it. The technique is called "Spotlighting". I was real pleased with the way it came out. Hope you like it. I also used the new Smooch from Stampin' Up! I love this stuff. It's hard to see the shimmer on the card but trust me it's there. My photography has much to be desired but I'll get better. Thanks for popping in. I'd love to see your comments.
