Stamping 411

I made this card for the 411 challenge this week. My colors were inspired by my previous post:
Promoted to Glory. Card stock colors I used were Whisper White, Perfect Plum and Daffodil Delight. The stamp sets I used were: Vintage Labels and Elements of Style pictured below.

On the Perfect Plum card stock I stamped a water mark and on the Whisper White card stock I used the same stamp using Daffodil Delight ink. The sentiment was stamped with Perfect Plum ink.

Friends Never Fade

Today's card share is one made with the new "Friends Never Fade" stamp set. Available in the new catalog. Just one more week and you can start ordering. I gotta say this new catalog is a beauty.

Okay, back to the card. I used "Greenhouse Gala" Designer Series Paper" (DSP) along with Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock. Inks that were used are, Chocolate Chip and the new Marina Mist. The ribbon is also Marina Mist. Lovin' this color of blue.

Because I Care

My card share for today is one I made using one of the Hostess Level 1 sets, that will be available in the new Idea Book and Catalog, coming July 1rst. The set is called "Because I care". The colors I used are Old Olive, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. I used same color inks to color the flower. I used the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder on the Regal Rose base. This was cut at 11"x 4 1/4" and scored at 5 1/2" then folded in half. Next the Old Olive was cut at

5"x 3 3/4" for the first layer. The Pretty in Pink was cut at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" for

the next layer. The Whisper White was cut at 4 1/2" x 3 1/4". I used Pretty in Pink satin ribbon for the bow. The sentiment comes from the stamp set "Teeny Tiny Wishes". I stamped it on Regal Rose then punched it out with the Word Window punch then layered it on Whisper White and punched that out using

the Modern Label punch. I really like this stamp set. You could have it too by hosting a workshop. Just email me and I'll tell you how. Have a great day and

My Grandson Zackary

He's two years old.

Just plain card pics

Here's more cards that I have made in the past. Enjoy!

Hey, don't forget...........STAMP TILL YOU CAN'T !!!!!!!!!!

One of my first.

I thought it would be fun to show you one of my first cards I made, years ago,
when I first got into card making. It's obvious I was a beginner. I guess this was about nine years ago. I drove an hour to attend classes at a rubber stamp store in Mooresville, NC. I remember how excited I was. The ladies there were so talented and sweet. I don't even know if the store is still there or not. It was called "Stamper's Alley". The card is made using the dry embossing with brass stencils and then cutting the images out. Very simple.

Light Bulb Ornies

I was cleaning out my files on my desktop computer to transfer to my new laptop my husband bought me for Mother's Day/Aniversary/Birthday/next Christmas/etc.(you get the picture) Anyway I came across a pic of these lightbulbs I painted a couple of years ago. Just thought I would share them.

I haven't posted in a few days due to the fact I've been helping out my Mom and Dad. Dad isn't in the best of health. He has a new doctor now so hopefully he'll improve some.

I haven't been able to do much stamping these past few days. In fact I haven't done any. I'll have something to show in the next day or two. Stick with me!!
