September Stamp Camp

I will be doing a class on Saturday September 18th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. We will be making three cards. One card for the three holidays coming up. I'm not going to show the projects now but I will tell you that all three involve this little guy. I can't wait to show you. If you like working with punches, you're going to love these cards. If time permits, I'll show you some projects from the new Holiday Mini which starts September 1rst. If you don't have the Holiday Mini and want one let me know. The cost of the class will be $5.00(this will help with my cost) but if you place an order your $5.00 will go towards your order. If you would like to come please let me know by September 10th so I can have a packet prepared for you. This is not my Holiday Stamp Camp. I'll have that coming up in late October or early November. Not too sure on the dates. Depends on my hubby's recovery from surgery. Hope you can join me for a fun afternoon. "Stamp Till You Can't"

Yard Sale

I'm having a yard sale Saturday Sept. 4th from 8:00 until. I'm getting rid of tons of craft items and tools. Lots of rubber stamps, inks and more. I have a whole lot of craft magazines that are priced from .10 to 1.00. I'm getting rid of all I have left so I can concentrate on my Stampin'Up! business. I have other things also, sorry not any clothes, but for the most part crafting. Hope to see you there. "Stamp Till You Can't"

Thank you card for Ronald McDonald House Charities

I made this card for a sister demonstrator who is very involved with the RMDH Charities.
http://www.sandimaciver.com/ I didn't write down any directions unfortunatly, I just took a picture of the sign and went from there adding my own background. Enjoy!

Heavenly Sunset

I made this card after watching a great tutorial by Kerin Sylvester.
I changed mine up quite a bit but the sponging is the about the same.
The card stock colors are Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black and the top layer (although you can't tell it) is Glossy White. Glossy White works really well for sponging.
It's easier to blend your colors. For the inks I used Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler,
Pumpkin Pie and Peach Parfait. The sentiment is from Elements of Style. The little flying
birds are of course free hand. And by the way they're Canadian Geese on they're way home
cause it's so "stinkin" hot here.

Enjoy and have a great day and remember.........."Stamp Till You Can't"

More Blushing Bride

My sister had surgery today and I was unable to be there. I made her this card last night and sent it with my parents. I used the Blushing Bride card stock again. I just think this color is so soft looking. I like sponging so I did quite a bit on this card. I made a little pocket to slip the tag in. Enjoy!!

Two Challenges, One Card

I thought I would combine two card challenges this week and make one card. I like how it turned out. I finally ordered the new In Colors card stock and inks and they got here just in time for this weeks color challenge. I can't make up my mind which one I like best so I'll say they're all my favorite. If you haven't seen them yet go to my sidebar and click on the sparkly new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog or go to my website at Stampin'Up! and check them out.

The first pic is of the Thursday Color Challenge and the second pic is of the Saturday Sketch Challenge. Both are from Stamping 411.

And here is what I came up with. You like?

Friday Sketch Challenge

Each Friday Sharon Field ( http://createdbyu.blogspot.com/) posts a card challenge on her blog. Here is the sketch for last Friday:

And here is my take on it: The card stock colors I used are Whisper White, Soft Suede, Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake. The DSP is from Elegant Soiree. The sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes and my little flower stamps are from the new set Awash with Flowers( a two step stamp set). I used the new Dotted Ribbon Border punch for the small strip behind the sentiment. Topped it off with gold brads. (love'em)
