I've been MIA

My husband, Steve, had surgery last Thursday and I've been busy taking care of him. Please keep him in your prayers. Tomorrow is his first doctors appointment then I'm hoping to be back at work Tuesday. We'll see how it goes. He comes first. Been several days since I've done any stamping. I'm too pooped. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful fall weather. At least here it's beautiful. Leaves are all over the ground. I love the crunching under my feet. Hope to show you some projects soon. Get Well Wishes

I made this card for a friend who just had surgery. Quick and simple. I used Whisper White, Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke card stock. The stamp sets are French Foliage and Teeny Tiny Wishes. I used the co-ordinating inks and of course the famous little owl punch. This is for a guy but I don't think it's too cutesie. Thanks for dropping by!

Class Project #2

This will be the second project for my class this Saturday. Just a reminder, it's a start to finish class. Cost is $6.00 and if you place an order you get $3.00 back. This Saturday, October 16 at 1:00. It's been a hectic week for me with one family medical emergency and Steve (my husband) having his pre-op in Charlotte. Things are starting to calm down so I'm back on track.

First Project For Class

This is project one for the "Start To Finish Class" I will be having next Saturday, Oct. 16. I cased this from Dawn Griffith. Her theme was Halloween but I don't really do Halloween so I changed it up for Christmas. I love poinsettias so the stamp set Bells & Boughs was perfect for this. I'm having a class on October 16 from 1:00 to whenever. I say this because we have so much fun playing that we forget the time. haha This will be a "start to finish class". I'll supply all the fixins' but you will make the projects from the start to finish. I'll have nothing pre-cut or scored or stamped,etc. The class fee will be $6.00 and if you order something you get $3.00 back. I do ask that if you have a paper trimmer, scissors and glue that you bring them. This will help having to wait as I only have two paper trimmers and two good sharp pair of scissors. If you'd like to come just pop me an email or give me a call. I promise we'll have fun. I also serve some kind of goodies! SHHHHH!!

Today is my little girl's birthday. She is 11 years old. She has brought so much joy to my husband's and my life. Some people may think she's a "brat" (haha) but we love her. Happy Birthday Sweetie Pie!!!
