I used Marina Mist and matching DSP to make this card. Also used the new stamp set Fabulous Florets, found in the new Summer Mini. I really like the look of the faux stitching. The picture may not show this well but I used my paper piercer and mat pack to pierce the holes then I just connected the dots with Xs. Well worth the extra effort.

Bold Blossoms & My Favorite Flower
Here's a pic of another card made with the Bold Blossoms stamp set and Blossoms Punch. I love this set. Beside it is my favorite flower. I love the look and the way it smells. I have four Peony bushes in my tiny garden. They bloom so beautiful but unfortunately don't last long. I cut as many as I can and bring them in the house. My whole house smells so good.
Also thought I would show you what happened this past Tuesday night. We had a terrible storm and this was the result.
We just filed a claim not long ago from hail damage (took out three sky lights) so Steve is going to get the tree down himself. Thankfully it's not a big one but I'm sure there will be some roof damage. I have to remind myself of the folks in Tennessee and Alabama and the struggles they are having. We're not doing so bad.
So on the positive side, a lot of you know that Steve (my husband) was diagnosed with cancer back in November of last year. Since then he has had many treatments and has been sick. He had blood work done and was told yesterday that the cancer cells were undetected. Praise God! He has three more treatments (Radiation) and two more years of shots. The shots are basically as a precaution. The doctor didn't go as far as saying Steve was cancer free, he said they had the cancer on the run. We're happy with that! Thanks to all of you who has kept us in your thoughts and prayers.

Oversized Mother's Day card
I made this for my Mom. Her sight is failing and I wanted to make a card that she could see. Even this was hard for her. It's an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock folded in half. I used bright colors and added dimension. I thought my butterfly turned out cute. The punches I used were "Blossoms Petals" ( for the wings), the "Two Step Bird" ( for legs a antenna) and the " 2 3/8" Circle Scallop". ( for the flowers) I used " Flower Fest " stamp set and the new Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Emboss Powder. All which are in the new Summer Mini.

Casing Again
I cased this first card from LeeAnn Greff who cased it from Bev Watt. I think it is adorable. My card is different than hers but the cute little butterfly is the same.
This next one is my own design. I should have used a color ribbon and not white. The stamp set I used is "Flower Fest" which is in the new Summer Mini. The sentiment is from another new stamp set called "On the Grow"
Last is a card I made for a friend. I put this one together pretty fast and I see I didn't line it up good. Hmmmm, I may have to redo this one.

Sail Away and Get Well Wishes
This card was made for my husband's friend who just had surgery. I used Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, and Whisper White card stock. I think this sail boat is going to be a favorite of mine.
